A.CRE worth it?

I’ve seen a few threads on it but was hoping to gather some more information on it. I was thinking about doing the cheapest option.

Is it worth it? How much did it increase your skill sets?

I’ve done some of the REFM but didn’t really like the content so was hoping this would be different.

Would appreciate any anecdotal experience with the course and what you got from it. It’s kinda expensive so would greatly appreciate it!

Yes. The cheapest option was 599 I believe. Both Spencer and Michael are talented. I especially enjoyed the latters development/construction modeling. My only complaints would be the 2nd gen base rent modeling was difficult to understand. Also, they like to use boolean logic which would return true or false (1 or 0) I prefer IF statements

Personally, I prefer REFM to all others. Good luck!

Has anyone done the specialized endorsements beyond the core package? Curious if any of them are worth it

Haven’t taken anything outside of A.CRE. I think it’s an amazing program because of its depth, what makes it challenging is if you try to cram through it. If you take your time which will make it a long commitment, you will learn so much, and not even just real estate but your excel shortcut game and the things you learn you can do in excel will improve dramatically.

ACRE’s accelerator has major pros and cons to me as a working professional:

1.) when I rebuilt my teams UW models, their way of building the rent roll calcs greatly influenced my final commercial model.

2.) for the amount of money I spent, the fact it is time gated is absurd. Not being able to go back to reference certain things is slightly annoying. I probably got my money’s worth on enough and if I was in school or early on and had more time, I would say it is worth it.
