Appreciate the color, had some follow ups:

So as an analyst you do get some acquisitions experience no matter the team? Are there teams that are better or worse? I notice like they split based on coverage region (northeast, southeast, etc.). Have they been in the office or working more hybrid? Also what would you consider good hours?

Acquisitions experience depends on the team and your background. If you have a more deal oriented background you will get staffed on some acquisitions but regardless you will do asset management. Been hybrid, some regions in more than others. All teams solid tbh lots of great people. Great hours I’d say can range from 55-70 depending on if there’s budgets and stuff to do which can be a busy time.

The bonus seems light. Any idea what numbers look like up the ladder?

Awesome insight though, thank you.

I'd push back a little here, I wouldn't say the bonus is light. In terms of base + bonus, there are few other groups aside from true PE firms (Blackstone, Carlyle, KKR, etc.) where you'll get a better comp package.

Can speak to my own experiences and from what I've seen, I think it's market and maybe even above relative to other shops. For example, at a developer as an analyst, I doubt you'll get a much better base salary.

Of course, if things have really moved more than that, would love to hear counter examples as well.
