compared to most of the posters here, I'm probaly older but most of my exp out of school were in China so please bear me with some of the phrases I used.

My first thought -- tl;dr I would think an associate/VP (not sure how high you're applying) with no time on his/her hands is not going to sit through all of that, no matter how much experience you have.
