Guess, you can write you helped put together company pitchbooks, assisted with large volume projects, just something else so that portion is a bit more chunky. Something that you did at your firm that will carry over to your M&A and S&T applications.

For the sizing, I would make the spacing between the points a bit smaller. Decrease the margins near the top, for your investment club activities write how much of a return you provided to your school.

It's pretty good, you already have a foot in the door with some m&a experience. However don't just think that you can easily get a position with this resume. You still have to network, build your connections, and better yourself. Are you applying for jobs in the US or EU? Also I know that in the US there are development programs for sophomores (2nd years) for finance/banking.

I'm glad that it's good overall.

I will apply for positions in London and Frankfurt. Banking internships in these cities are typically for 2nd year students, who study a 3-year bachelor program, which should be an advantage.

I'm not going to detail but remove these altogether: American Politics, M&A, ECM, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Global Macro Trading; and replace with stuff which doesn't relate to finance. And the technical skills section (no shit you know word and powerpoint).

Decide whether you want S&T or IB so you can target your CV.

Thank me later.

Would you remove the whole technical skills section or only Word and PowerPoint? And how would you target the resume exactly? Isn't the work of my practical experience relevant for both areas, especially M&A?
