Bocconi vs UK universities for undergraduate degree

Hello,

I am an English student currently studying in an international school in England. I have applied to 5 UK unis (Edinburgh, Warwick, Surrey, Exeter and Kent) but have also applied to Bocconi University in Milan.

I have always wanted to study abroad and get out of the UK. I have been to Milan many times and I love it there, so naturally the thought of studying at Bocconi appeals to me. However, I am aware that it said to be that a degree from the UK has a higher reputation.

I am currently learning Italian and can almost speak at a conversational level. I can also speak French at a conversational level and would study it as my second language at Bocconi as I would expect to develop my Italian whilst living there.

Does Bocconi have a good reputation among employers in the UK and other countries other that Italy?
Would I be better off with a degree from the UK? If I wanted to do a Masters in the UK or somewhere other than Italy, would I get into a top university with a Bachelor degree from Bocconi? Would my lack of Italian limit my job prospects in Italy?

Any advice would be appreciated:)

Bocconi's bachelors degrees have a good reputation throughout Europe and you can get a job in the UK. People routinely go to other top European business schools for their Masters. Some people decide to just continue their education at Bocconi and maybe enroll in the MSc Finance program etc. If you make an effort, you can probably bring your Italian to a business proficient level within 2 years and then you can even interview for positions in Milan/Italy. Happy to answer any other, more specific questions. Just PM.

Hey, can't go wrong with Bocconi. Lot's of friends in Bocconi landed FO positions in London, Switzerland and Asia. PM if you have more questions.
