Columbia Master of Financial Economics Interview

Have one coming up in the next week. It might be unlikely that anyone's had an interview yet, but if anyone has or just has any ideas of what to expect through other Columbia program interviews I'm all ears. This'll be my first grad interview ever with Vandy and Duke ones in the near future. Thanks a lot you guys.

I am applying to the program at Columbia, Vandy and Duke also!!

LLcoolJ:
sounds like you should stop going to school and just get a job already.

I have a job at a consulting firm but I would like to branch out possible into IB or at least consultancy on a wider scale and a bigger firm. Plus, the real draw is to work abroad.

Hey FinancialNoviceII,

I have a heavy quant background from a non-target undergrad. 99th percentile GMAT. You look like you have a pretty good background--not sure about your quant background. Don't take my word for it, but Duke is probably a sure thing at least as it's less quanty. Good luck!

Hi! I have an interview coming up next week for Columbia Master of Financial Economics. I was just wondering how technical was your interview. For example, did you have to solve puzzles or mathematics problems about asset pricing? Thank you very much for your answer.
