MSF Programs Insight/Help
Good Afternoon,
I have been browsing this website for a little while now, and have found some very useful information regarding Masters in Finance programs. However, I still have some questions and was hoping to get some useful feedback here.
A little about me...
I'm an undergraduate student at The University of Oregon, majoring in economics. I have a 4.05 GPA right now (overall), but I guarantee it wont be that high at the time of graduation. However, I do expect to have a 3.75-3.8, conservatively. I have been looking at Masters in Finance programs at University of Alabama, Auburn, Vanderbilt, University of Texas (Austin), Texas A&M University, Arizona State, and University of Arizona. I was in the Marine Corps previously, and will finish my undergrad in roughly 2 years total. I haven't taken the GMAT yet, but I am not applying for the fall class of 2019, so I still have some time to get my stuff ready.
I have letters of recommendation from both professors and old Marine Corps officers.
I expect to score between 600-700 on the GMAT (lower to mid 600 range is more realistic).
Created a website using HTML/CSS/JS for information regarding blockchain and cryptocurrency. (Does this even matter?)
No clubs, no extra curricular activity (bad, I know).
So, based on the above information (and yes, I realize a lot of this is still up in the air, i.e. not done with school yet, haven't taken GMAT, etc.), can anyone give me insight on the listed schools, (goods, bads, etc.) and any conjecture on my possibility of getting accepted?
Thank you!
Hi Mooki07, just trying to help:
You're welcome.
Anyone? I know there were some good suggestions above, but more so looking for a personal evaluation.
Thanks!
