Vanderbilt MSF Interesting Fact

This site has been very beneficial over my college career and I am finally asking my first question about something that may seem trivial but has me quite nervous.

I have been working on applying to Vanderbilt's MSF program for a long time and recently submitted my application. I was thinking about it, and remembered that there was a section that asked for an interesting fact about myself in less than 25 words, which I put off and was going to come back to. However, I don't remember ever coming back to it and there is no way I am aware of to check if I ever did. I double and triple checked my application to make sure I didn't mess anything up but it is possible that after seeing it so many times I just missed this section. Will this hurt my chances? Is there a way I can contact the admissions office and ask without sounding foolish or careless? Is anyone else applying in this round that can confirm it was a mandatory section? Maybe they removed it from the application?

Thank you in advance.

I just checked and yes it's a part of the application. Doesn't seem like it was mandatory though, it doesn't pop up as a missing item on the review page. I saw it at first and just wrote a quick thing but honestly I forgot about it until I saw this. Unless you have a ridiculously cool fact, I don't think it'd be worth it to contact the admissions office. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Shoot Maura an email and just explain things. They want good applicants and understand honest mistakes. Not the end of the world.
