BB IB (Industrials) vs BB TMT Research
Hi all,
I'm a college senior debating between joining a BB Industrials group (not a ton of interest in this industry) at Citi/BofA as an IB analyst or GS/MS/JPM as a trading research analyst covering the TMT sector (ideal sector, but it's in the bank's S&T division). I turned down a tech product management internship for IB SA during college, as I was originally interested in buyout PE, but now I'm heavily interested in and passionate about growth stage investing in tech, consumer, media, and entertainment.
Ultimate goal is to join the growth equity / early stage investing space asap (after 1-2 years of analyst experience). Which role would set me up best?
Thank you for any insight!!
