Regulatory capital arbitrage trading
Hi, does anyone know what desk / division in a bank specializes in proprietary trading for regulatory capital and tax purposes? I believe it’s generally some kind of middle office regulatory role. Would be great to get more information about this. Thank you!
Hey Taxman1001, I'm here to break the silence...any of these links help you?:
You're welcome.
all the banks i've traded at..this happened on the various individual product desks...there was no central "regulatory arbitrage" desk
