Trading Applying/Resume
I am looking to move to a trading firm in Chicago sometime this year but my current position isn't going to help much (Operations at a mutual fund company). I am aware of the stigma that this position holds. I have been trading on my own accounts for a little over a year in both equities and currencies and I am studying for the CFA exam and majored in economics. My question is, how should I go about mentioning any personal trading experience on my resume or cover letters? Do firms really care much about personal trading experience?
