How to Secure Healthcare Venture Capital Internship as a Medical Student with Relevant (Old) Experience

I have a strong interest in getting an internship in healthcare venture capital summer 2020.

Here's my background:
I am a first-year medical student, but a career changer. I did my bachelor's in business (finance), and did one internship in investment banking and two internships in private equity (these were done 4-5 years ago as an undergrad). I also have about one year of medical research experience from a top 10 medical school (did this before medical school) as well as 2 publications.

When I was a business major, I obtained my internships through campus recruiting (I was at a top 20 so the recruiting was strong). Now that I am about 4 years removed from undergrad and a medical student, I am not sure how to go about finding a venture capital internship. The medical school I'm going to doesn't have a strong business program, so recruiting for VC is weak. What do you think would be the most effective way to go about finding a healthcare VC internship? I have listed some basic ideas I have, but would appreciate additional thoughts on what I have proposed as well as other strategies if you think there is a better way.

Strategies I have considered:
1. having my med school's alumni relations center try to connect me with alumni in healthcare VC (I would speculate these people are rare)
2. having my undergrad's alumni relations center try to connect me with alumni in healthcare VC (there are far more people from my undergrad in VC than in my med school, but not a ton)
3. Reach out to people on LinkedIn who work in healthcare VC
