Venture capital from MBA w/o social media?
Obviously if you are a former founder and have a massive ecosystem of other founders you don’t need social media, as you can tap that network.
However I’ve noticed many (most?) of post-HBS/GSB VC investment professionals who pivoted from PE or Tech rely on social media for dealflow generation through public market mapping and think pieces.
I’m fine making the content and actually have tons of the above, but I hate sharing it with strangers, would rather distribute personally. Is there a precedent for success in VC post MBA without being active on social media?
