Let go - Not sure what to do next (Buy a Business or Go back to School-MFIN?)

Hi all,

Recently was let go due to downsizing in the current climate and not sure what to do next. Been toying around for a while with the idea of buying a business but haven't exactly dived off the deep end yet.

Don't have a traditional path but spent the first half of my career in equity prop trading to asset management/research and the back half at capital markets related startups. Not a straight line up.

Not sure what the right call is here. I love investing but i'm also looking to align with tailwinds instead of headwinds.

Really having a hard time deciding on what to do from here. Would appreciate any advice.
