2nd Year Experienced Analyst Trying to get out of the Back Office!
Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and found this place to be an excellent resource.
I have been working for the past two years at a BB bank doing Funds Accounting (back office work, I know pretty much the career killer).
Anyways, I've been looking to get out ASAP, I feel if I don't get out soon my options will become extremely limited, short of going back to get my MBA.
I've been looking into boutique I-Banks that are local, Turnaround Management, or even Management Consulting (I have some pretty good contacts that I think I could use to at least get a look at).
I'm also looking for some tips maybe that can help mask my back office work and make myself more marketable to the fields I want to get into.

Any critique would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
To tell you the truth: - Your resume is boring because, among other things, your sentences are too long which make your resume look like an engagement letter or a cooking recipe. - Cut the sentences, go to the facts, results. - Put "nomal" separate skills/ interest/ licence/ work status so I won't believe that your interests are excel and powerpoint. - Don't BS about valuation because there is IMO a slight diference between NPV NAV and DCF/ LBO/ M&A models.
> Good luck, hope this helps
