A guide to the Words of Wall Street New Folks take a peak
So as I've stated in several threads I'm new to the IB culture. Working on educating myself on all aspect, but as with any map you need a legend or it it useless.
Ive comprised a list of Vocab word definitions that had been advised as being helpful when holding conversations or any type of investment reading.
I didn't come up with this specific list although i did do all the foot work and get the formulas and definitions through investopedia.

thanks for posting. our finance dictionary (http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/finance-dictionary) also has a lot of helpful info :-)
I did see that! Very very comprehensive list! These were just recommended as the words one would most commonly come across. I figured in PDF format you could download and have it with you at all times even if service wasn't available.
-New guy here and i didn't wanna try and guess which ones were the most important so i took someone else's advice. Wasn't trying to take away anything from the community or work put into that dictionary.

Very useful database. This basically sums up the terms for the first few months of my intro accounting class.
Thanks @"FrankieTheWop". Every bit of info helps. Sometimes I'll print out a list like this that's 10 or 12 pages long before a flight so that I have a quick list to recap with. Very helpful to someone like me. I'm in real estate, and other than my own private investing, I don't get the chance to use a lot of the financial concepts I learned in school on a daily basis. I'll start studying next month for the December CFA Level 1 exam, but I've tried to keep myself up to date with small lists like this one over the past 3 or 4 years since graduating.
The list is good, but I'm going to point out that every word on that list is one that you're going to become very familiar with from taking even an introductory managerial accounting course. They're prerequisites, not buzzwords.
