A question as a lateral hire

This may be naive, but I thought I'd see what others thought.

Currently in a position to potentially move to another shop on the other side of the country (moving from east to west coast). When inevitably asked "why X" city, would it sound silly to also include that's where my girlfriend is from? For reference, currently am a first year analyst. I do have some family there, which has helped a lot--but would it improve my case to also include the girlfriend part since it may signal some long-term commitment to the area/job? I'm worried it comes off as a little young/naive if I let a girlfriend influence a work/life decision(which I am, to be fair--but hoping it comes across more as commitment than just me being retarded/"dumb and in love" or some shit)

Thanks in advance.
