ZS Associates B-school placement & positions

How are the B-school placements from ZS Associates, or other exit opps? Is there any chance of going to a top 5?

Also, how do their Business Associate and Business Analytics Associate tracks differ? I know the second one involves a lot more quant work, so would that role be tailored towards someone who wants to get a non-MBA degree? Thanks.

I worked there for two years as a Business Associate. Business Analytics Associate will be more like an operations work. Business associate will be analytics based consulting (things like customer segmentation, etc.) I'll be honest about the reviews. A. The work they do is pretty much analytics, even though they brand it as consulting work. The exit options are good, if you can impress the client B. They have a good brand name, that'll surely help you get into Kelloggs, Wharton. But, I have never seen anyone get into HBS from ZS

I have worked in ZS Associates for nearly 5 years. ZSers have got into many top schools including HBS, Wharton, LBS etc. ZS does not enjoy the brand name of MBB, but look at it this way. ZS has a strong healthcare presence, and your experience will stand out compared to other applicants. If you are looking for jobs: The work is largely analytics based consulting, which is a great launchpad for strat or operations consulting (think MBB, ATK, Deloitte etc.), finance (think excel, analytics or similar skills).

ZS Associates website should give you a great deal of information about all the profiles they recruit for.

Hope this helps!

The only people I know of that got into top 5 b-schools from ZS recently had other things going for them, for example strong involvement in community work or world class level music skills. At ZS, you don't need an MBA to get promoted. For exit ops, you're mainly looking at pharmaceutical companies, because those are the ones that recognize the ZS name.
