Balancing Military and Finance Career

Hello,

I a freshmen in college. My major is finance and I am in Army ROTC. I have been trading for about 4 years now and I have been told by some portfolio managers that I have a bright future ahead of me in finance. However, it is very important to me to serve my country in the Army.

The problems I am having are:

  1. Will the Army let me take an MBA (regardless of my MOS)?
  2. What is a recommended MOS to go into finance (or does it not really matter)?
  3. Is there any chance of getting a finance job after military?
  4. Can someone who has been in my situation tell me what they have done and the outcome?

Thank you for your help.

See that little yellow input box at the top right corner? Type in "military" and hit Enter. Holy sh*t, what do you see? Merry Christmas.
