Barclays and Goldman FICC trading floor dress code
is there a dress code or semi-formal standard on the FICC trading floor of these firms?
Suits? Jeans and polos? Khakis and button downs?

At Goldman, FICC/equities follow very similar dress codes (although FICC may be more "traditional" at the moment). For interns, suit & tie would be expected throughout your summer.
For employees, however, semi-formal attire would be appropriate on the trading floor. Keep a tie in your desk though and a blazer on your chair, just in case! Fridays are "casual" and most employees participate.

Don't let the game change you, change the game.
Same as anywhere else in a bank. On trading floors I've been on in banks its still business casual. But its not like hedge funds where tshirt and jeans are the uniform.
Agreed, business casual M-Th, but casual on Fridays, more often in the summer.
