Barclays Capital - Comment on reputation in Europe?
Can anyone comment on Barclays reputation in Europe? I know its a BB, one of top in Europe. And since it bought Lehman's businesses in North America, it's become a top 10 bank there as well. I am interested in finding out about their Equity Research business reputation in Europe, UK in particular. How does their ER compare to some of the other BB in Europe? I know that since Lehman arguably was a industry leader in ER in Americas (according to Institutional Investors), Barclays has taken over the mantle now. But I don't know much about it's reputation in Europe.
Any constructive feedback, insight, and comments would be greatly appreciated.
