Barclays Capital recruitment
Does anybody know if Barclays is recruiting summer analysts in New York?
The app. doesn't list any positions available in New York, but I think it would be unusual if they a) already filled up positions or b) weren't hiring SAs in New York.
I sent an email to BarCap HR but I don't expect a response anytime soon b/c of what is going on w/ Lehman.

They'll recruit for summer analysts in New York. Their '08 summers just finished like a month ago. Just chill for now.

I was under the impression that most of the BB's had resumes drops after 1st semester and began interviews during Jan/Feb

having gone through a similar situation the last two years... (spent a semester abroad in london)
BBs generally (but who knows with this crazy mkt) recruit the first few weeks of the spring semester for SAs. The common exception is for people who will be abroad in the spring. They recruit for those kids in Late October/Early November, or basically whenver they're finished with recruiting for FT.
