Be harsh please

Thanks in advance. The school I went to is non-target.

For the "American General Life" -> Should I delete it and add something else? My dad runs a life insurance brokerage and I helped out quite often. I put it there because I didn't land a meaningful internship that summer.

You really have to network, your resume doesn't stand out because it would not fair much with the competition. What internships are you aiming for? At least intern at a PWM, they are really easy to get given little effort. I would leave out the books and WSO training. I would list your technical computer skills.

I will be a summer SA at a BB, so I know the competition is fierce. You better bring the bazookas to the gun show.

"be harsh please" - So said a girl I know XD.

Valor is of no service, chance rules all, and the bravest often fall by the hands of cowards. - Tacitus Dr. Nick Riviera: Hey, don't worry. You don't have to make up stories here. Save that for court!

Take those books off before you get slapped. The Great Gatsby is OK, but Liars Poker, When Genius Failed, and Barbarians at the Gate are the most stereotypical possible finance books. Listing your favorite books is a little unusual, but if you do it it is supposed to distinguish you from the mass of other resumes, not make you blend right in or stick out as a finance-obsessed weirdo.

One of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest, will be my wingtip passing over.
