Best way to get out of doing stupid work?

bankers; when you're staffed on an absolutely miserable project, what are some excuses to get outta this sh*t?

So far I've been using the stall tactic, "Oh, I'm swamped with something else for John, but I'll get to it right away." Have delayed about 3 days, hoping that boss'd eventually give up and do it himself, but am still getting harassed about it. Might just keep postponing indefinitely.

What are some other strategies? Or do you just suck it up and do your work... coz I'm def. not like that :)

Nice Going, b2!

You just screwed every guy on the Street whose been ducking his boss's idiot busywork.

All the bosses that read this thread will think that you are the flunkie whose been ducking their busywork, and will proceed to take a huge shit on said flunkie.

Well played, sir.

I'm sure the bosses have

I'm sure the bosses have done the same thing before, and I am pretty sure that they can smell a lie/fake excuse from across the room. Maybe the reason why he is harassing you is to make sure you are telling the truth, and if he finds out otherwise, god help you and your loved ones(Yes, even they will feel the pain brought down on you for this).
