Still not sure if I want to spend the next 30+ years grinding away in corporate finance and the WSO dream chase or look to have enough passive income to live simply and work minimally.
 

A way around that is just take the first name and his or his occupation, and Google it (example "John + Goldman Vice President". Usually the full name will show up in the search results for a LinkedIn link. I am sure more restrictions will come now that the site has a solid user base built up, and they know people will pay for their services.

People mostly pay for the use of shit like InMail, being able to see names and non-connections that you otherwise can't etc. It's worth it early on, but after you have a decent network, not really.
