Certificate in Securities
Question for those of you based in London. I'm starting in a few weeks as a research associate and have been sent the home study materials for the certificate in Securities covering units 1 (Regulation) and 2 (Securities).
Roughly how long do I need to spend studying for these? I've been told to book my own assessment dates and not sure whether this is something I should look to get out of the way in my first week or if I really need to give it a bit more time and take the exams 3 - 4 weeks into my job. I don't really have a steer on whether I will be able to study in the office or if it will all be home study.
Anyone done these and have some advice?

Probably best to check with
Probably best to check with your manager of whats the best thing to do...or email HR?
Did you sign up for a course
Did you sign up for a course with 7 City or something? If not, it's going to be a pain to study for. The regs one in particular is painful.
