CFA® + CIIA
HI,
I am goign to take CIIA on March. I have already passed CEFA level.
I would like to take CFA® I too, but I am wondering how much time would I have to spend to pass it on December and if that would be a drawback for my CIIA study. I dont really think I need to study for most of the contents, as CEFA has exactly the same structure but without ethics.
So, what would you guys do? Go for CIIA and then CFA® 1 on June 2015, or strike for it on December, CIIA March and CFA® 2 June.
I am 24, working on my first year, so, even if I take the exams I wont have the certificates yet, as I lack of experience.
Any advice?
Why would you take the CIIA and the CFA? Isn't the CIIA essentially the "European CFA"?
I took CEFA together with my master, so I already have half CIIA. I only have to study 6 more months and then I will be in possesion of a renamed certification.
However, CFA is overall way more renamed, even in Europe and thats why I want to go for it too.
Basically I think about CIIA on the short term, because CFA means waiting at least 20 more months to be 3/3.
CFA is enough. It's the golden standard.
