Dude , your graduate GPA is worse than your undergrad GPA? What gives?
I was a punk little 21 yr old; everyone else much older, more together. Graduated w deparmental honors at least.
you will receive offers from at least 2 schools.out of the 6 you mentioned
jeez, how much student loan debt are you going to have combined?
you are a very strong candidate. in my opinion adcoms would eat this application up. there's always an element of randomness in the outcomes and being non-traditional only amplifies that....but HSW are squarely within range. sloan/booth/columbia are pretty close to guaranteed unless you fuck up your interview/essays.
you didn't specify how many years of work experience you have. too few or too many years can be a dealbreaker even for strong applicants.
It's pretty obvious from your post that you went to Johns Hopkins. You should be more discrete if you don't want to be obvious.
I think you have a chance at getting into one of those schools, but Hopkins is not on the same level as Cornell and Northwestern, and per Bankerella's 27 posts on the GMAT, you need a 750+ for getting into an MBA business schools ">M7 school without having founded a line of non-profits or being Obama junior.
Umm, no. A 730 will get him into any of those schools just fine. Retaking the GMAT for a 750+ is not the best investment of time or money to improve his chances.
haha man -- hilarious on here. Hopkins beats cornell in ranking and scores, to my knowledge. I don't think anyone on here would say they aren't peer schools. Cornell and NW both great schools, but there is no difference in prestige.
And yes I did go there. It is a fine university.
While that may be true, I don't think I've met a single person in finance that went there. It's great for medical related subjects, less recognized in business circles. You need to get your GMAT up if you want greater than even chance at one of the schools you mentioned.
Also -- it's discreet in this case, bro
Good catch. You should use that brainpower to improve your GMAT, not making me feel bad. I'm just trying to help.
thank you for advice, though, sincerely!
Anything can happen with application execution, but your profile is on par with that of many of the people I have met at Wharton.
