Citigroup West Coast

They're middle tier for tech, although they did play the main part for the VMware IPO last August. GS/MS/CS are the top WC tech banks, though MS is a sweatshop and Menlo is no fun. SF is a lot better to work in, much more to do.

The office is in Palo Alto.

Have a buddy at the Palo Alto office. Would put group up with CS, post-Quattrone CS isn't what it used to be. My friend really likes the culture, hours.

Not sure about SF.

East coast.

How is the tech group in New York? Compared to others on the street?

East coast tech = no fun. Worse hours, less deal coverage, less interesting clients. If you want to do tech banking, take a gig out in SF/Palo/Menlo

What are the exit opps of both East coast and west coast tech?
