Classic Navy Blazer

I am looking for a classic blazer that I can wear on to work on a Saturday and then afterwards at a trendy restaurant for happy hour.

I realize most people will say Brooks Brothers, but I am not a fan of the big gold buttons on the sleeves.

Suggestions?

I strongly agree, Hart Schaffner Marx are by far, THEEEEEEE most comfortable jackets ever. Like I have told others, go to Syms (if you are in the Tri State region) and buy a couple of them. Like WHMD said, make sure you get the silver buttons if it’s Navy. Each blazer will run you about $100. I have bought so many great blazers there, most of them HSM. Bot an Ungaro jacket there for about $120 when i went back to NY to visit. I actually wore a Ralph Lauren jacket today that I purchased last year.

Forget Nordstrom etc. etc. you’re just gonna get ripped off. Trendy is cheap, always go classic! Sorry, I married an ex-buyer from Farragamo. They have a variety of great looking blazers for as low as $80 at Syms. Look for a suit, too.

Are you sure you want a plain navy blazer? You can't really go wrong with it, but something that has a slight pattern (like checks, stripes or herringbone) would be more interesting. I own a couple navy blazers but hardly wear them anymore, but maybe it's because I just like more variety in my palette of clothing. I'll probably sell them eventually just because I wear them so infrequently.

scott andersonI appreciate you discussing and recommending my Blazer. If anyone has any questions about the product feel free to contact me.

....this for real? Is Oscar de la Renta going to create a WSO account next?
