Consulting, But Its Not Looking Too Good?

I'm a third year business student and my GPA is... Well, Low. It is a 3.3/4.0 and I am freaking the hell out. Theres nothing I want more then to go into Management Consulting and get that form of experience of constant learning, and challenges.

I would really like your opinions on strategy in terms of how to break into consulting with my GPA. Getting above a 3.3 is going to be ROUGH considering I'm almost done my undergrad at an Ivey league B-School.

I would absolutely appreciate anyones opinion on my current situation, and would love to hear about how to overcome this hurdle.

First, don't get set in the consulting or die mindset. I was there a few years ago and it drove me batty. Not making it could drive you to ruin and make you miss other opportunities.

With that being said, you're not out of the game. Ivey League name, decent GPA, and of course motivation are in your favor. Do you have any WE? Good extracurriculars? Do you have anything lined up for this summer? These also could serve to help you.

IMO, start targeting the boutiques as the big name firms have already locked up their classes. There's plenty of resources on here and success stories which prove that hustling can get you in almost anywhere. Best of luck.
