cornell mfe vs lse mfin

i'm trying to decide between cornell's masters financial engineering program vs lse's masters in finance program

pros/cons for cornell: more quantitative, 3 semester program so i can do an internship, 2 good semesters in ithaca and 1 in nyc where i can have networking opportunities as well as enjoy ithaca, project based education, ivy league school, more computing so more technical skillset

pros/cons for lse: in london, less quantitative more focus on corporate finance, 2 semesters so no time for internship but sooner to securing a ft job and making money, more internationally known brand name, more diverse student base

i was discussing this with one of my professors and he was advising me towards lse's program as he was saying a degree in financial engineering would point me more towards BO/MO type work while the masters in finance would have more FO opportunities. i wasn't so sure about this, but i dont' think mfe would really prepare me for quant type work as those are mostly filled by phd's

i know a lot of this will depend on where i want to work ie: london vs NYCj, but i just wanted to hear some opinions on this before i made my decision

Cornell mfe places most of the people into front-office trading jobs (not much quant content) in New York City.

LSE will place well in London.

Just choose the place where you want to live. You should keep in mind that you will end up paying about 60% of your salary in taxes in London. When you see that half your bonus is gone before you get it, it can be heartbreaking.
