Corporate Banking - possible exit opps?
Currently a 3rd year CB analyst on track to become associate next year, but already jaded and looking to get out of banking for good. Don't care too much for IBD since I have commitments. Aiming for F500 FP&A or treasury roles, but what other possible opps coming out of corp banking?
I'm in a similar position - about to start my third year as a CB analyst and am still trying to figure out what I want to do next. Not interested in IBD.
I'm in a similar position. I figured depending on bank/group and networking ability, you could do private debt/ buyside direct lending if you wanted
I should've mentioned that I looked into maybe a BDC or credit buyside role if I tried hard enough, but cringe at the thought of having to read more credit agreements.
SBL underwriter exit opportunities (Originally Posted: 07/24/2017)
Hello fellow monkeys
The position is SBL underwriter(dealing with Freddie Fannie). My ultimate goal is REPE. Not sure if I can leverage SBL underwriting experience? what are the exit opps?
Once you have a Fannie/Freddie job you will always be employable. Take the job. I know some SBL underwriters that get paid very well. As far as a transition to P/E...not so sure about that.
