Which group and city? What's your background and goals?

Computer forensics (AFT; e-discovery, etc): These people do computer forensics and data analysis. Basically go collect data for investigations (copying harddrives, servers, etc) and do analysis to find useful stuff (or else you're going to end up having to go through millions of emails and documents).

Forensics/Corporate Investigations: Less glamorous than it sounds at the staff level. Doing the leg work for different investigations. It's not audit but I would compare the intellectual stimulation to audit. But you get to travel and you get paid more. Probably get's more interesting as you rise ranks.

Corporate Finance: Middle market investment bank

Restructuring: Not a fancy name but do both creditor and debtor side advisory.

Valuation: Similar to other valuation shops (Duff and Phelps); there are intangible/business people (typical finance stuff but more accounting heavy), real estate people, and tangible people

Anyone know of Deloitte Discovery Forensic group? How's the culture and career path in this e-discovery/forensic service?

As an engineer interested in data/business analytics, I would like to hear any info about this track. My interest down the road would be to get MBA in analytics.
