Did i f*ck up by accepting a big4 internship offer?

Hey guys,

So basically, I wonder if I just shot myself in the foot by accepting a big4 Advisory internship in a regional office??

I'll have a master of laws degree and a bachelor in business administration when I graduate (non target) and I did a corporate banking internship for a small bank last summer in a regional office.

I want to, and should with my degrees, really be working in ib. The big4 internship is in transaction services which is m&a duedilligence and stuff like that, but is that enough, or will i be marked as "big4" material and not ib-material?

long post i know, sry about that but your input would be great.

thanks,

smallmonk

Given how bad the markets are getting for jobs/internships, how good the quality of life is compared to IBD, and how many kids have gotten into MM and even BB IBD after TAS, working for Big 4 advisory is not a bad gig, especially if you got into Deloitte, which IMO is the best of the four to work for. Last year they ended up in the top 5 for best places to work for young businesspeople, and they seem by far the least 'stiff' of the stuffy accounting atmosphere.
