I'm curious because I've been active in politics on the right (Conservative/Libertarian) and I don't want to scrub that stuff of my resume because bankers and traders love getting taxed at higher marginal rates and being put at competitive disadvantages.
As a general rule, avoid political stuff on resumes, unless it's something big.
Bad example: member of College Republicans Good example: Assistant campaign manager for Representative/Senator whatever
