Obviously on the buy side there is less writing of reports compared to SS ER. However this question has always interested me. When researching a company/index that you find attractive and considering buying. Do you do a written report on it, to show your analysts/PMs/Risk team? Or do you just simply make some notes on a word document in dot point from specific statistics from the desired security?
