Do you guys send out networking emails in the evening?
I am thinking if I should send out networking emails in the evening, say around 6 - 10, or that's too late and not appropriate? My logic is that since most associates/VPs (my targets) work pretty late generally so they are going to see it anyways.
Or should I only just send them in "business hours"? say 8-6?
Thanks!
I would craft all of the emails you are going to send to each person and save them as drafts then send them around 9-10am the following morning if you are short on time during the day (school, sports, etc..) No reason to send emails in the evening really.
But wouldn't bankers have fewer incoming emails in the evening thus are more likely to respond? In the morning around 9-10 they would just have so many emails so more likely to ignore yours?
Going off of personal experience here. I had the best response rate by far emailing between the morning and lunch time. I have tried the evening and have received a few nasty or lackluster replies back. Then again it's complete luck when you can catch someone during their free time, good mood, etc..
