Does IBD of a lesser bank beat a less competitive group in better BB?
Would taking an IBD offer from a lower BB such as CS, Deutsche Bank, etc. beat taking a buy side role or a middle office position at a top BB such as Goldman?

Go to a top BB, even if you are placed in the mailroom!
Ofcourse you go to IBD. People look for banking experience, not Goldman experience. With a question like that maybe you should go the middle office route because you'll get eaten alive in banking.
