Econ Undergrad (w/ no business courses)
I graduated with a degree in Economics. My program was straight Economics with no accounting or general business classes although I did take an International Finance and Money and Banking class that was offered through the Econ department.
Am I at a disadvantage by not having these basic accounting/finance courses? Finance is something I've always researched and kind of taught myself so I feel like I'e made up for it in a way. Accounting is kind of common-sense unless you get really in depth and want to sit for a CPA.
Should I go back to school and take some accounting/finance to accelerate my career? Currently I'm in back-office trade support (hate it).
Thanks!
