Engineer seeks lucrative position in finance??
Hello all...
After a very focused search, in aircraft leasing, I've gotten a reality check; time to refocus.
The gist of what I want is a lucrative role, ideally in something related to aviation, that will allow me to branch out to other types of industries as I grow; eventually something like PE?
So at this point I guess i'd like help planning my career. I'm looking for roles that provide transferable skills across disciplines. This is the reason i've been considering consulting (MBB) a lot lately. (I've also been considering aircraft finance)
Given my background, what would be the most sensible way to, eventually, get into PE (assuming this is the most interesting and lucrative option)?
My background:
- 4.5 Years of experience at Boeing doing engineering work (airplanes)
- 4 Years at the FAA working in commercial space (rockets)
- BS & MS in Aerospace Engineering
- MBA (Global Executive Program through Georgetown & ESADE... Expected 8/12)
Thank you in advance!
MT
