EY FSO BAP Exit Opps?
Hey Everyone,
I'm leaning towards accepting a FT offer from EY's financial services consulting arm. Was just curious on what typical exit opps are from this program? Which MBA's recruit from this program?
Thanks!

Go to LinkedIn. Type in the company and the group you're asking about. Look at pages of people that have worked in the group and exited to other firms. You'll see the "typical exit opps!"
I did that, but it's typically tough to see much. Usually when I put in the search, I only see current workers at EY and only a few that have exited.
E&Y FSO Business Advisory Program - Exit Ops? (Originally Posted: 01/18/2012)
Hi all,
Just curious what exit ops might be expected from doing a summer internship in E&Y's Business Adviser Program. The program seems interesting, but the nature of the work seems a bit narrow considering it focuses primarily on financial services and not much on the strategy side.
Does anyone know or have experience with a.) what areas within the practice I should focus on, b.) how to leverage this experience (whether it's after the summer or a few years into my career) to get into M/B/B or P/E. c.) will top b-schools look favorably on E&Y experience?
Also generally, if anyone can comment on the type of work for summer hires that would be greatly appreciated.

Ernst and Young FSO Networking Opportunities (Originally Posted: 02/28/2012)
So I have a job offer from Ernst and Young's Financial Services Office as an auditor and my goal is to work in investment management someday. Is EY's FSO a good place to start? I will be working mostly with asset management firms and hedge funds in Chicago.
I know this isn't the ideal route, but I come from a non target school, and have a decent GPA (3.4). I was planning on trying to network my way in with one of firms I'll be working with as an auditor.
Is this a good plan?
Its a good plan if you follow-through.
Most people just say that shit now, then dont act on it
