future steps
im a 17 year old teenager, about a year and a half ago i became extremely interested in the financial world from my dad. I think i would like to be a trader, what do i do from here on to achieve this goal.

first and foremost learn to spell and type. re read your posts before posting... Second if your going to a non-target for business make sure to kill it in college with the grades.

Basically any of the top schools that the big banks recruit at. Think of like Harvard, Yale, UPenn, UVA schools like those. Non-targets are basically schools that banks do not recruit at for front office positions like Investment Banking. Although if you are just looking to break into AM than going to a top school will not be too much of an issue but if you are looking to get into S&T than you might have a little more difficulty. In general being as young as you are get over a 3.7 GPA in your first few years and you should set yourself up to get some interviews. With that said, if you can transfer into a better school after a year that might make sense, other than that you need to network your ass off and try to get a decent F500 internship sophomore year.
