Basically any of the top schools that the big banks recruit at. Think of like Harvard, Yale, UPenn, UVA schools like those. Non-targets are basically schools that banks do not recruit at for front office positions like Investment Banking. Although if you are just looking to break into AM than going to a top school will not be too much of an issue but if you are looking to get into S&T than you might have a little more difficulty. In general being as young as you are get over a 3.7 GPA in your first few years and you should set yourself up to get some interviews. With that said, if you can transfer into a better school after a year that might make sense, other than that you need to network your ass off and try to get a decent F500 internship sophomore year.
