Hey y'all -
Just wondering if anyone knew of any Global Macro HFs out there that have taken in the past or would be willing to take interns this summer. I'm primarily interested in bond, currency, short rate, and commodity markets - less interested in equities - w/some experience managing a personal portfolio with the aforementioned asset classes.
Background: Econ Major, Junior at Ivy League Target w/ 3.5+ GPA
Work Experience: Internship in a research role at a large, well-known Global Macro HF; Decent quantitative skills as a result of other past internships and a software development company I founded
In general, I'm just looking for an opportunity to learn more about markets and gain exposure to more senior associates.

Hi,
I am a first year MBA student at an Ivy league school in US, and looking at internships in global macro shops. I interviewed with some big names (PIMCO, BW etc) but did not get the final offer. Can some one help me with some global macro fund names where I can try for an internship? Anyone here who went through a similar process and willing to help me out? Any help will be highly appreciated.

i work for one, but we dont have an internship program for guys doing their MBA. in fact, i think it counts against you more since MBA actually has no value in global macro.. we are probably more likely to take on an undergrad than a MBA student.
