Any idea about what Goldman has/will be paying out as bonuses for 1st year analysts?
I just got an offer from the Investment Management Controllers group of 60k + 10k signing + yr-end performance bonus, and am curious if anybody would know what range that might be in.
Obviously it's not going to be in the range of IBD or S&T, but any ideas?

i was thinking since i'll be an analyst under the IMD umbrella the bonus might be more than say someone in an accouting role w/in controllers... what do you guys think? any ideas?
Doubt it, a controller is still a controller...
but it is basically product control and back office so I wouldn't expect more than 10-15k
My package actually includes 60k base and overtime at times-and-a-half. Has anyone heard of people working with overtime like this? I definitely did not expect there to be overtime.
I would say overtime would be an alternate to a substantial bonus. If you are getting overtime, I would guess you will get some sort of token bonus.
Token bonus meaning like a thousand bucks or something like that?
Has anybody had an arrangement like this before?
I did the math and if I put in on average 10-11 hour days then the overtime would be over 30k. Should I not expect a bonus if my OT is going to be that much?
