Goldman Sachs Private Lending Underwriting Superday

Hey guys,
I had a superday with Goldman in Dallas on Monday (Feb 10), and I haven't heard anything. At all. I sent thank you notes that day, but should I follow up with an email? Also, when should I hear back? A lot of people say within that day, but it is the private bank, and not investment banking so I don't know how true that may be.

realistically, it probably didn't "hurt" your chances- but it certainly won't help you honestly, do you think a recruiter is going to be like "oh shit this guy didn't email me saying thank you- gonna fuck him up"

.

I disagree. It is always wise to send a short thank you note. It can definitely hurt you not to send one. I know interviewers who told me that if they didn't get a thank you note, they would view the candidate as lacking basic manners and ding them.

To OP: you are likely dinged or on hold. Sorry and best of luck!
