Goldman Sachs SSG Interview Help

Current junior at a target school, interviewing for GS SSG on Tuesday morning. I've been told that preparing for the interview is pretty similar to prepping for ibd interviews, but I was hoping that someone might be able to offer a bit more insight as to what I should expect. Does SSG have different technicals that they prefer to ask? Anyone interviewed for this group before? Any help would be much appreciated!

Knowing the normal IBD stuff and accounting knowledge is a must. They have different groups within SSG so it really depends on who interview you. If you can show you understand the capital structure and seniority of bonds/where the value breaks, that would be a plus. But it's normal if you have no clue about it since they won't expect you to do anyway unless you have done distressed/RX internship before.

Questions were a mix of basic IBD questions, with a few geared toward deciding how you would invest in a company. For example, I was asked what factors I would look for if I wanted to invest and gain steady returns year-over-year, why EBITDA vs revenue, walk through DCF, financial statements, what's in an investment memo, etc.
