Hairstyles - Hair Wax and Gel
Do any of you guys know if people wax their hair everyday throughout the summer for work? Is having a normal un-styled r formal / professional enough for an SA stint?

It honestly depends on the person. Things you want to avoid:
I like bedhead for men or american crew fiber
As long as it's not: http://erinhasthoughts.com/tag/kid-mullet/
So long as it is something presentable and you don't look like you're in a boy band.
if you have a thick head of hair and friz in summer then a waxed look may help. Otherwise its just too sticky to look at
I like the Kevin Murphy line of hair wax. Awesome stuff. I mix the "Night Rider" with "Gritty Business" (about a pea-sized amount of each).
I would never think to mix two products, that's pretty ballsy. I might try the Night Rider ... do you like that better than the Bed Head paste or American Crew fiber?
i put wax in my hair everyday, i used to use crew fiber but have found that i actually like axe "messy look" better. I put the wax in my hair when my hair is still wet, then style my hair once it dries completely--this prevents the waxy/gel look.
While you wait for your hair to dry you should probably apply an herb-mint facial mask and leave on it for 10 minutes... that is if you actually want to make it in this industry.
I use Gorila Gel. Very overlooked, works like a charm and in my experience, it's even better than American Crew, wax, pomade, etc.
I'm a mixer - towel dry my hair, then put some fiber in there, work it around, blow dry/comb my hair into the general shape I want, then use some paste to lock everything in place. Works pretty good.

Classic Bateman effort.
You picked up the Bateman scent on that? And didn't pick up my "herb-mint facial mask" plug?
I didn't even get into my skin care routine, shit would blow your mind
I haven't tried either of those. If you're going to use just one of the two I listed, go with the Gritty Business instead of the Night Rider.
Also, I just looked up both the Gritty Business and Night Rider on Amazon, and they're a bit overpriced (the Night Rider is at least). I pay ~$20-25 at my local salon, but Amazon has them listed for almost $40 (although it's sold by a 3rd party, so it's not really Amazon's fault).
I've been using Gritty Business for about a year now and I really like it. It's def different than any product I've used. Thanks for the recommendation because it would've taken me awhile to find it.
Malin + Goetz's style cream and pomade both are great. I mix a little of both while my hair's wet, but on weekends I just use the cream.
