HELP! Plan B for summer?

So I was naive and applied to mostly BB banks and have gotten only 4 responses. 1 and done at UBS, made it to Citi Sday-no offer :( ,waiting on JPMorgan to get back from 1st round, and have an phone interview next week.

I feel like Im pretty fucked. Is it too late to apply to NYC MM/boutiques the like Raymond James, Robert Baird, Cowen etc.? Are positions filled/ application deadlines done?

My work experience is solid, I have a high GPA, but im from where Shia lebuff spoke highly of..

I feel like Im not going to get anything this summer and I don’t have a good back up plan.. Any suggestions? Should I take summer classes to raise my GPA even higher? (cum at 3.5 now) Should I look into studying/interning abroad?

If this summer cannot be salvaged, should i be worriedcome september? (bare in mind I didnt use any alumni contacts and will come september)

Thanks

Can't be of too much help with plan B for finding an internship (will leave that to the actual professionals), but I can recommend a plan B if internship doesn't work out at all.

What's your major? If you're in something like engineering, pure science, econ, math..., your back-up can be research. Ofcourse, you should try to get an internship since work experience trumps research experience hands-down, but taking a summer class or 2 and doing some quality research is also pretty solid.

I would definitely keep applying to the banks. A lot of the banks are not done with the recruiting process, although they are coming to a close very soon. I know there is a Credit Suisse Superday- NY in March. I would definitely try your luck there, and keep on top of the MM banks.

Look at some of the boutique shops as well, a lot of guys won't take their offers, and Banks may be looking to take more people since there is no one on their waitlist. If all goes bad, then try and intern at some financial services firm and try your luck in the Fall. Good Luck!
