Honda FCX - First Hydrogen Car Coming Out This Summer
Hey guys,
So I'm about to move out to Southern California as a first-year in a couple of weeks.
I went to school in DC on the east coast and so didn't need my own car for some time, but am going to have to look into one since a car is absolutely essentially anywhere on the west coast.
I'm already strapped for cash as is with rent and other expenses and certainly am not looking forward to lease, insurance for an under 25, and $5/gallon gasoline.
Question is, is anyone else in Southern California (they're only going to be released in that area initially) looking into leasing a Honda FCX?
I was told that the going price is $600/month for 36 months and that there is a tremendous waiting line. While that price is expensive it apparently includes insurance (big cost saver for me) as well as maintenance costs... not to mention that it's going to save me so much money on fuel.
Does anyone have more information about this car and the best way of being able to secure a lease for it? I've called multiple dealers and some have told me they've been swamped with calls and others are flat out denying the existence of the car.
